Water... How Much Do You Use?

Today your child learned about a boy named Ryan Hreljac.  He is from Canada and when he was in First Grade he learned from his teacher about how some children do not have clean, safe water to drink and he decided he wanted to do something about it!  I have posted the youtube video below of his story.  We are also reading the book Ryan and Jimmy in class.  The children have had many questions and I have encouraged them to share this story with you and also their thoughts and questions.

Ryan's Well

To help understand how much water we use and begin the discussion of conserving water, your child has come home with the form below in their folder.  The directions are on the form in their folder.  Thank you for taking the time to do this with your child.  It needs to be returned no later than this Sunday.

Ways we use water each day.....
